Olivia is an editor with over 10 years of publishing experience. Currently a senior editor at DK (Penguin Random House), she acquires and edits nonfiction titles by social media content creator authors. Her bestselling titles include Old Time Hawkey’s Recipes from the Cedar Swamp, Hailee Catalano’s By Heart, and Thruhikers by Renee Miller and Tim Beissinger.
Olivia began her publishing career as a sales assistant (and, later, a sales coordinator) at DK (Penguin Random House), before transitioning into editorial work. As an editorial assistant at Portfolio/Sentinel (Penguin Random House), she worked to publish bestselling business and self-help books, including Measure What Matters by John Doerr, Brotopia by Emily Chang, and The Making of a Manager by Julie Zhuo.
Before returning to DK, she worked as an editor at The Experiment, where she edited cooking, health & wellness, and self-help titles. Her bestselling and award-winning titles from this time include Fresh From Poland by Michał Korkosz, Plant-Based India by Dr. Sheil Shukla (a James Beard Award nominee), and Love Your Gut by Dr. Megan Rossi.
Olivia loves dogs (most notably her rescue dog, Finn), theater, dance, teaching yoga, cooking, spending time outside in the woods, and, of course, books.
